Audi’s showroom in Brentford is a flagship dealership within the company’s UK operations and maintains the mantle of being the world’s largest Audi Centre. Spanning multiple floors, their showroom required glass balustrading to complement the sleek, contemporary interior.

Main contractors ISG selected Vision Design Projects’ range of glass balustrades, via their key partner PAD Contracts, to design and install a balustrading solution for the showroom. Adhering to ISO 9001, our production processes and supply partners ensure that the glass balustrades met all UK Building Regulations and Standards and were fit for the purpose intended, both in terms of structural integrity and aesthetics.

The vertical elements of the balustrade system complement the striking structural beams that span the interior of the showroom, while the glass provides maximum visibility throughout the building. Audi were delighted with the glass balustrade systems as they upheld the showroom’s visual end ergonomic integrity. Because the floor space had multiple use and was subject to higher than normal balustrade loads. It was a pivotal aspect of the decision to use Vision Design, to ensure that the sight lines and space were not compromised whilst providing a stunning glass solution that met all the performance criteria.

When it came to installing the glass railings we were able to install efficiently and in co-ordinated sequence with our key partner, PAD Contracts and all other associated trades.
